Hi there! I’m a landscape architect and urban planner based in Detroit, MI.

I harness climate-driven investment to drive systems change in legacy cities.

My sweet spot is the upstream, collaborative, and sometimes messy intersection of people, policy, and the built environment.

In Detroit I have initiated projects to measure how vacant land is created, managed (or not) and improved. I have worked to enhance land stewardship at the scale of a block, a neighborhood and citywide. In 2019, I began working on these issues nationally.

Right now, I am:

• Supporting a rising Detroit-based organization in its effort to establish a 2.5-acre Therapy Forest on vacant land in its neighborhood. Learn more here.

• Building a collaborative tool to connect the national inventory of publicly owned vacant land with climate-driven reinvestment. Would your MSA-designated community benefit from being part of our next pilot?
